Konstantin Grcic was born in 1965 and has been working since 1991 as a freelance designer for some of the most important design companies in Europe. Many of his products have been internationally recognized with prestigious design awards. In 2001 he received the Compasso d’Oro in Italy for his work.
The TOP waste management system by Konstantin Grcic represents a new addition to the Authentics Waste Management product family. TOP can be used either as an individual waste bin or as a complete system for the separation of plastic, glass, paper and biodegradable or non-recyclable waste. Any number of waste bins can be placed together in a row and stabilized by connectors. Whether standing on the floor or affixed to the wall – within little more than a three feet, TOP separates more than 6 gallons of waste. The lids of the light grey plastic bins not only cover up the bags but also identify the contents of each with their different respective colours. In the case of same colored lids, pictograms are included to aid in waste separation. The lids are available in the following colors: black, light blue, blue-grey, grass green, green, red, white grey and yellow.
