Solid and well-crafted from Germany (I think). Nice hidden mounts. Looks great. Definitely a quality piece. There are so few small towel rails out there -- and I needed one to go on a 20" wall -- so this fit the bill perfectly. Just remember that it is quite small -- it's not big and chunky, but rather thin, precise and elegant. Maybe two hand towels would fit -- or just one folded bath towel.
