Duravit:

The year 2005 started promisingly with the ISH fair in Frankfurt.
Duravit impressed the numerous visitors with its new products, high-class design and striking presence. The company was able to continue the growth of the previous year. Sales to third parties increased by 16.4 percent to 211.8 million euros. The German sanitaryware market is still not developing satisfactorily and German ceramics suppliers saw a drop in sales of 6.3 per cent. The German sanitaryware sector as a whole experienced a decline of between 4 and 5 per cent. While
Duravit's ceramics sales were only slightly above average, in contrast to the market trend it improved overall on the German market by 4 per cent. New products and the Bathroom Furniture and Bathtubs + Wellbeing business segments, which developed even better than expected, played a significant role in this positive result. The outstanding acceptance of the complete bathroom concept was also instrumental in this success. More and more customers are impressed by the possibility of acquiring all their bathroom furniture requirements from a single source and a single manufacturer. The foreign sales quota in the
Duravit Group continued to rise to 71.4 per cent. Europe remained the main focus of international activities in 2005 but there were high growth rates in Asia and non-European countries in general.

Truck Freight Additional Information:
This product is too heavy/large to ship via the small package delivery services (e.g. UPS, FedEx) so it will be sent to you via truck freight. Truck freight is different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house (or wherever it's going).
The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.
