The kitchen helper is a must if like me, your toddler wants to see everything going on in the kitchen and you want to keep them safe. My daughter now happily waits, watches and helps while I get things ready and is learning at the same time. I had previously seen the learning tower but did not buy it as it takes up a lot of space, then I found the kitchen helper which folds away. It is easy to assemble and easy to fold out etc and stores away in my laundry room closet. It is sturdy and at the same time not too heavy to move around. It cleans easily - everything just wipes off. I also like the fact that my daughter will be able to use this until she is four or five. Right now I have the platform at the top height setting and she is 2 1/2 so weight and height wise this will be usable for a long time.

I bought this because my granddaughter always wanted to be up at the kitchen counter with me to help when cooking/baking or whatever. It is perfect. She can now safely stand at the counter to help bake cookies, color easter eggs or color in her coloring book. Mom wants one for their house now!

The foot that you must screw into the leg of the item does not always match up. I thought we were going to strip the wood, because we had to tighten the foot so much to get the gap some what closed.
