The only thing I would suggest is to keep the size of your backsplash in mind when mounting the faucet. The control for the sink plug is in the back of the faucet and it is a bit tight. We had a granite countertop/backsplash custom made with the hole pre-drilled and it is a little difficult to pull the mechanism for the plug because it almost butts up against the backsplash.

After a few weeks with this faucet I have to say I am disappointed. The \ndirections were sketchy at best. The drain plug is a hit or miss trying to \nadjust it just right so it raises high enough but shuts tightly to prevent water \nfrom draining. The directions offer no help. So far we are losing the battle. \nThe drain plug is definitely defected and I am using a seperate plug for now \nuntil we have the time to play with adjustments. Yes I had someone with \nextensive plumbing experience install it and 2 others have looked at it. Out \nnext step is to find a replacement washer and hope that is the answer. I bought \nthis faucet because I have a Toscana sink and their faucet would be easier for \nmy arthritic mom to use. If you have better directions I would love a copy.

I have a similar style faucet that needs replacing because when the handle is turned off it still drips steadily if the hot water spigot is on. So...I can only run the faucet with cold water. I can't get into the faucet to see if it is a washer issue. Will I have the same problem with this faucet?
