About Murray Feiss:
Over fifty years ago, Rose Feiss, an immigrant with talent and spirit, began sewing lampshades to occupy her time while her son Murray was serving in the Navy during WWII. What began as an endeavor to pass the time, developed into a cottage industry filling the days of many wives and mothers in The Bronx, NY. After the war, Murray joined his mother’s business and expanded it to include portable lighting. The company moved to larger headquarters, and the business grew. Three generations have nurtured the company and it now stands as a leader with a reputation for impeccable craftsmanship, innovative design and honest value. In 2002 the company opened a five and one-half million cubic foot, state of the art distribution center. The company now occupies several square blocks on Rose Feiss Boulevard in The Bronx, renamed by the Mayor of New York in honor of the company’s matriarch.
With pride in the past and commitment to the future, Feiss has expanded its extensive, copyrighted line of products to include grand chandeliers, casual fixtures, vanity bath lights with coordinated bath hardware, outdoor lighting, lamps, torchieres, wall brackets, and decorative accessories. A talented award winning in-house design team of industrial, graphic and interior designers work with engineers and draftsmen, color forecasters, and quality control experts to guarantee that only the finest materials are used and design integrity is maintained. These designs are brought to life in factories overseas, where over 3,500 skilled professionals manufacture the exclusive product. Every product is meticulously finished and quality tested, not once but twice by an independent team of engineers.
They are proud to be the exclusive manufacturer of Bob Mackie Home, a name synonymous with glamour and style. Additionally, they are the exclusive lighting and accessory licensee for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation’s: Williamsburg Pure • Simple • Today: a collaboration that brings the traditional and the transitional heritage that defines Williamsburg’s commitment to authentic American design and quality.

Comments about Murray Feiss Bristol 3 Light Vanity Light in Oil Rubbed Bronze:
This is a great looking light, but the light mounts are not in the same plane. The one on the right is crooked and as a result the shade is tilted and it's apparent. The support and receptacle are such that they cannot be bent. [...] We didn't retain all the packaging material and installed the fixture some weeks later, so a return was not an option. I think from a QC standpoint we expected more of Murray Feiss. We have other MF products and they've always been ok.

I was amazed at the amount of light that was given off. It may be too much in a small area, but for my purposes it fits well.
