For more than 40 years, Swanstone has been creating innovative and affordable solid surface products and materials for customers all over the world. It started in 1964, when they introduced the Swan Shell Shower, a doorless, shell-shaped shower that captured the spirit of its time.
The Shell Shower was the first in a long line of original kitchen and bath products from Swan, including the Circle Shower as well as the industry's first compression-molded bathtub wall system.
In 1987, they introduced Swanstone to the world, first with a line of vanity tops and bowls. Swanstone quickly became known for its superior impact strength, heat resistance, and ability to resist scratches and stains. Consumers now had an elegant and durable solid surface material that was also affordable.
Since then, the Swanstone line has expanded to include a wide variety of kitchen sinks, countertops, tub and shower walls, and more. In 1994 they introduced the Swanstone 1/4" sheet program, offering even more flexibility to Swanstone customers. In 1997 they introduced a complete line of Swanstone products for the restaurant industry, including tabletops, countertops, vanity tops, mop service sinks and windowsills.
At Swanstone, they're committed to a policy of continuous improvement, to providing their customers with the highest quality products and most responsive customer service in the kitchen & bath industry. And they stand behind this commitment with some of the best warranties in the business. © 2006 The Swan Corporation More on Swanstone...

Comments about Swanstone Classics 25" x 22" Granite Single Bowl Kitchen Sink:
The drain for this sink is located in the right rear corner, which is a very functional location. The problem is that the sink has a low spot in the center (as if it was designed for a center drain location), and thus water puddles in that area and does not completely drain out of the sink basin. Unfortunately, this could not be detected until the sink was fully installed (undermount). As a result, I am very dissappointed and I cannot vouch for the quality of this manufacturer's (i.e., Swanstone) products.

Comments about Swanstone Classics 25" x 22" Granite Single Bowl Kitchen Sink:
The sink is very nice looking, very functional and cleans up easily. I have only had in place for about 3 weeks but I do love it. I can fit so many different sized items in there to clean and the side drain is really nice. My only disappointment was that the sink was a little more gray than I thought but not dark gray by any means(what I saw online was slightly whiter with dark gray/charcoal speckling) but I would still highly recommend the sink and so far I am very happy that we got it. P.S. my husband installed it and thought it went rather well, even having to adjust the pipes underneath the sink because of the side drain.

Comments about Swanstone Classics 25" x 22" Granite Single Bowl Kitchen Sink:
I absolutely love this sink. I purchased the almond color and it looks beautiful with granite countertops. I was worried that a single sink bowl would not be big enough, but with the larger left side and the depth of this sink, I can't imagine ever needing a bigger sink. I also love the offset drain because I can have something large soaking on the left side but still use the sink without it being stopped up. I highly recommend this sink!

A:
We bought it in black also. According to the manufaturer's instructions, for everyday cleaning, wash with warm water, a soft cloth or non-abrasive woven nylon pad, and a non-abrasive liquid cleaner or detergent, with no limit on frequency. For hard water, calcium, or lime deposits, wipe with a non-abrasive woven nylon pad and white vinegar, and then rinse after 20 minutes. Do not use abrasive cleansers, abrasive scrub pads, or alkali cleaners (e.g., ammonia).\r\n\r\nHope this helps.
